Ready to plan? Let's walk through creating your first event on Party Pilot.
Getting Started
1. Sign up or log in to your Party Pilot account
2. Click "Start Your Party" or "Create New Event" from your dashboard
3. You'll be guided through a simple setup wizard
Basic Information
Enter the essential details:
- Event name — Give your party a memorable title
- Event date — When is the celebration?
- Location — Where will it be held?
- Event type — Birthday, baby shower, holiday party, etc.
- Expected guest count — Helps us tailor recommendations
Theme Selection
Choose how you want to approach your theme:
- AI-Generated Theme — Let our AI suggest creative themes based on your event
- Custom Theme — Describe your vision and we'll help bring it to life
- Skip for Now — You can always add a theme later
Additional Options
Configure optional features:
- Guest Party Page — Create a shareable page for your guests
- RSVP Tracking — Enable guests to respond online
- Gift Registry — Link to your wishlist or registry
Review and Create
Preview your event details and click Create Event. You'll be taken to your event dashboard where you can start planning!
